Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This policy covers the WB Clip website and the WB Clip app. "We" means WB Clip. Questions go to wettabetta.clip@gmail.com.
The website
The website has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The app
The app makes WB Clip's clips and posts them. Only WB Clip uses it, and it connects only to accounts WB Clip owns. It is not offered to the public.
What it accesses
- YouTube (Google).
youtube.uploadto upload our clips to our channel, andyoutube.readonlyto read the channel's ID and name, so the app can show which channel is connected, and the view, like and comment counts of the clips it posted, so we can see how each clip does;yt-analytics.readonlyto read, for those clips only, the engaged views, average time watched, shares and subscribers gained. - Facebook and Instagram (Meta). The list of Pages the account manages, with each Page's ID, name and access token, and the ID and username of the Instagram account linked to the Page. These are used to post our clips as Reels. For the Reels it posted, the app reads their totals (
read_insights,instagram_manage_insights): plays (with and without replays), the share of plays skipped, people reached, average time watched, likes, comments, shares, saves and follows. To find those Reels on Instagram, it reads the links of the account's posts. - TikTok. The account's display name (
user.info.basic), so the app can show which account is connected; permission to post our clips to the account (video.publish) or send them to its inbox as drafts (video.upload). Before each post, the app reads the account's nickname, username, profile picture and posting settings (which audiences it may post to, and whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed), to show them on its post screen. These are read fresh each time and not stored.
Apart from those totals, the app does not read comments, messages, who follows or watches the account, or any other account data, and it does not post anything except the clips we make.
What it stores
- The sign-in tokens each platform issues, and the connected account's ID and name.
- A record of each post: the platform, the post's link, its status and the time, and the latest totals listed above.
- The source videos we clip, their transcripts, and our clips with their titles and captions.
This data is kept in a database on the computer that runs the app. It is not sold, shared with anyone, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. It is sent only to the platform it belongs to, to post it there.
The AI assistant
To pick clips, an AI assistant reads the transcripts of the source videos and stills from them. It is given nothing received from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok: no tokens, account details or stats.
Google and YouTube
The app uses YouTube API Services. YouTube's use of data is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
WB Clip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time on each platform:
- Google: Google account permissions.
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings, then Business integrations.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security, then Manage app permissions.
Tokens are kept until access is revoked or the account is disconnected. Post records are kept as the app's history. To have stored data deleted, email wettabetta.clip@gmail.com and it will be deleted within 30 days.
Children
The website and the app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If the app starts accessing or storing anything new, this page is updated first, and the date above changes.
